Hi everyone,

Here is the successor to my previous game, heroes and monsters 1.

The good news is it has a bunch of major upgrades and changes. I added an open world system, guild, trainer, and crafter. The mission system was completely redesigned around a turn based board game system. The startup performance has been improved, and it is now only slow the very first time. Some new content was added, bugs were fixed, and loads of other changes I can't recall.

The bad news is that the mission system is only ok. It is a complete game and it is playable, but I'm not personally in love with the gameplay. I was planning on doing much more including tons of new content, a new campaign, a user interface overhaul, and additional iterations as needed. None of this will happen, at least not for this style of gameplay.

The good news is that this isn't the end. I will proceed with game 3 from here on out. My initial focus is on getting amazing gameplay, then I'll focus on the extras.

Overall I'm quite happy with this iteration, which took just over a month. I experimented with a new style of game, and majorly upgraded my engine. Much of the work will be retained and carry over to my third game.
